What is in store for FuturePV workshop?

On May 20 – 22, our Perovskite Network sister project TESTARE is organizing a key event, where of course, SuPerTandem cannot be overlooked! Fourteen projects in the field of photovoltaics will focus on how to future-proofing perovskite PV. Focus themes were selected, following the most pressing challenges in the field – upscaling and manufacturing technologies, reliability and stability issues, and – of course – circularity and material selection.

Being in the final months of the rpoject, our partners have a lot of results and lessons learned to share!

Fan Fu (Empa)

His talk will focus on the latest research on device and mini-module development, and dive into the challenges of upscaling, offering a clear look at what’s needed to move toward real-world manufacturing and commercialization.

Philipp Tockhorn (HZB)

Will introduce methods targeting optical losses by light management strategies and electronic losses by the suppression of non-radiative recombination at the interfaces within tandem solar cells.

Markus Kohlstädt (Fraunhofer-ISE)

Will enlighten us on how Fraunhofer-ISE is targeting scalable and sustainable fabrication of perovskite modules for photovoltaic applications.
